I know, some of you saw a post and pages here indicating I was going to fix up this system and keep it…… but after looking at the A500 Mini and what I’d spend on setting up a real A500, I’m listing the A500 to fund an A500Mini.
So, if interested and in New Zealand, drop me a line…….. looking around $550.

Has not been used in probably 20 years. Just been sitting at a friends parents for the whole time.
What I have done :
Removed RAM expansion as it still has original battery installed, which are prone to leaking. Due to the solid case on this expansion, I have not been able to remove the battery, however from what I can see, there is no evidence of leakage. Re-installed for testing.
Removed cover and shield from main system. Caps all seem good, no evidence of anything to worry about.
Tested with 2 different floppy discs, both successfully booted.
I was going to install a GoTek drive etc but never got around to obtaining one.
I used Amiga computers for many years, and been in IT for many years, so all care will be taken during testing – ie: I wont be putting bare boards on carpet etc 😀
Good luck!
Note : Not looking to part out at this time.
