So I got to say I really didnt like any of the new Star Wars movies that came out, The Force Awakens (A New Hope again), The Last Jedi (Directed by someone who hated Star Wars), The Rise of Skywalker (Lets cobble together what we can to try salvage this series)
I have just started reading again Star Wars: The Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zhan, these are books that are now set in the “Legends” category of Star Wars. For those who don’t know the Legends section is all of the books that were relegated as not canon once the new movies came out.
Must say have been thoroughly enjoying reading these again, this is what the sequel movies should have been Thrawn makes are a smart and devious villain. The character in fact was so popular that Disney rebooted him in their new timeline.
If you get the chance I highly recommend reading these books, this is what the sequel movies should have been.
