GTR on fire….

The new GTR is a hot car alright,  but now its being used to cool off other hot cars at the famous Nurburgring race track.

The Nurburgring has been blessed with the world’s fastest fire engine recently that uses Nissan’s GT-R platform. After earning a reputation as one of the fastest cars to lap The ‘Ring, the crew at the Nurburgring have decided that the GT-R is worthy of the job of the Rapid Response vehicle. Stripped of its rear seats, the GT-R has been fitted with a tank of fire-retarding foam, a firehose and other fire-fighting gear. And because it will be lapping The ‘Ring at a serious pace to get to the job, a roll cage and carbon fibre race seats have been added, too. Almost worth joining the fire brigade for, that is.
